About the Role:

Join the Pokeworks team in Tempe, AZ as a Food Prep Back of House (BOH) team member! In this exciting role, you'll play a vital part in creating fresh and delicious poke bowls that our customers love. If you are passionate about food and teamwork, we want you to be part of our dynamic kitchen environment!

Responsibilities:

Prepare and chop fresh ingredients for poke bowls and salads.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are strictly followed.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow.
Clean and organize workstations and kitchen equipment.
Monitor food quality and presentation to meet company standards.
Participate in daily prep and production tasks as assigned.
Assist in training new kitchen staff and interns.

Requirements:

Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles preferred.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Passion for food and commitment to quality service.
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
